Domaine des Mathevies is a relaxed, friendly, family-run campsite set in beautiful surroundings. We offer our guests an alternative to the commercial camping scene yet still provide the important facilities such as a swimming pool, tennis court, terrain de boules, playground and café/ bar/ restaurant. We are located 6 km from the medieval town of Sarlat.

Situated high on the south face of the Dordogne valley, our site was originally a Perigordine farm and vineyard. This rural location with its beautiful views creates a wonderful feeling of space and tranquillity, yet still within easy reach of the region’s principle attractions.

Our 30 terraced camping pitches are generous at 150-280 sq. m. all offering electricity and access to water and drainage. We also have six ever-popular rustic wooden chalets, four modern mobile homes and a lovingly restored stone gite.
